Supply drop at Connaught Government Hospital.

September 2024

Inaugural Supply Consignment

The F.L.I.G.H.T. team in collaboration with our local partners facilitated our first major consignment delivery to Freetown, Sierra Leone as part of Project DIAMOND. The consignment was made possible by our partners at MAP International, who provided supplies and medications that are frequently unavailable due to shortages and supply chain deficiencies endemic to West Africa. Supplies and medications were distributed across four different hospitals: Kambia Government Hospital, Connaught Government Hospital, Princess Christian Maternity Hospital, and the Sierra Leone Police Hospital. In total, 6,000 amlodipine tablets, 1,080 azithromycin tablets, 4,000 metformin tablets, 10,200 finasteride tablets, 36,000 Adthyza tablets, 400 diclofenac gel tubes, 1,500 face masks, and 1,700 bouffant caps were distributed. F.L.I.G.H.T. will continue to invest heavily in logistics and local partnerships to ensure new supply lines remain open and sustainable.
