About F.L.I.G.H.T.
F.L.I.G.H.T. (Foundation for the Localization and Innovation of Global Health Technologies) is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization dedicated to closing critical healthcare gaps in marginalized communities by improving access to essential supplies, equipment, and training. Founded in 2022, F.L.I.G.H.T. works at the intersection of global health delivery, implementation science, and systems strengthening, focusing on locally led solutions that enable health facilities and frontline providers to offer safer, higher-quality care. Through long-term partnerships with universities, hospitals, governments, and international NGOs, the organization supports initiatives such as strengthening perioperative and critical care services, improving supply chains and biomedical stewardship, and building digital infrastructure and analytics capacity for health systems in settings like Freetown, Sierra Leone. Guided by core values of equity, innovation, and sustainability, F.L.I.G.H.T. co-designs, tests, and scales context-appropriate technologies and programs with local partners, rigorously evaluates impact, and reinvests lessons learned to help communities build resilient health systems that can respond not only to today’s crises but also to future public health threats.
