Supply drop at Connaught Government Hospital.

September 2024

Inaugural Supply Consignment

The F.L.I.G.H.T. team in collaboration with our local partners facilitated our first major consignment delivery to Freetown, Sierra Leone as part of Project DIAMOND. The consignment was made possible by our partners at MAP International, who provided supplies and medications that are frequently unavailable due to shortages and supply chain deficiencies endemic to West Africa. Supplies and medications were distributed across four different hospitals: Kambia Government Hospital, Connaught Government Hospital, Princess Christian Maternity Hospital, and the Sierra Leone Police Hospital. In total, 6000 amlodipine tablets, 1080 azithromycin tablets, 4000 metformin tablets, 10200 finasteride tablets, 36000 adthyza tablets, 1500 face masks, and 1700 bouffant caps were distributed. F.L.I.G.H.T. will continue to invest heavily in logistics and local partnerships to ensure new supply lines remain open and sustainable.
