The Foundation for the Localization and Innovation of Global Health Technologies (F.L.I.G.H.T.) is a 501(c)3 tax-exempt non-profit organization based out of Houston, Texas. Established in 2022, F.L.I.G.H.T. partners with universities, corporate sponsors, governmental agencies, and international organizations to ensure adequate access to resources necessary to enhance health and human well-being in line with the United Nations’ Sustainable Development Goals.

We achieve this through:

Global Partnerships: Collaborating with international organizations, healthcare providers, and technology companies to identify, procure, and distribute cutting-edge medical technologies. These partnerships are carefully selected to maximize the impact and reach of our initiatives.

Strategic Positioning: Working with entities that are strategically located in regions with the greatest need. By leveraging local expertise and infrastructure, we ensure efficient and effective delivery of essential resources.

Community Engagement: Engaging with local communities to understand their specific health needs and challenges. This allows us to tailor our interventions and ensure they are culturally appropriate and sustainable.

Capacity Building: Providing training and support to local healthcare workers, ensuring they have the skills and knowledge to use and maintain donated resources. This helps to create a lasting impact and empowers communities to manage their health needs independently.

Monitoring and Evaluation: Implementing robust monitoring and evaluation systems to track the impact of our initiatives and ensure accountability. This helps us to continuously improve our programs and demonstrate the value of our work to our donors and partners.
